Some useful web links - get your research started!

http://www.bva.org.uk/copyright-and-ip/ - The BVA stands for 'British video association' and represents the industry and creative producers rights in a digital world. Has support and membership from many major names in the film industry.


http://www.fact-uk.org.uk - FACT stands for the 'Federation against Copyright Theft'. You will have seen their adverts in the cinema encouraging payment for films and content. 


http://www.industrytrust.co.uk - The industry Trust is The Industry Trust is the UK film, TV and video industry’s consumer education body, promoting the value of copyright and creativity.


http://www.ipo.gov.uk/types/copy.htm - The government site that explains all about copyright and intellectual property.

British Film Institute Statistical Yearbook is a large document available online, with lots of information about the UK film industry. It runs to a few hundred pages so don’t print it, but do have a look: http://www.bfi.org.uk/statisticalyearbook2012/
